The standard we aim for

This site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, including for people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, voice control or high zoom.

What we have done

  • Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a link to skip to the main content
  • Text and buttons meet colour contrast requirements, and pages still work in Windows high contrast mode
  • Pages reflow at 400% zoom without sideways scrolling
  • Animations stop when your device asks for reduced motion, and a button pauses them on any page
  • The coverage review, claim report and contact forms label every field and explain errors in words, not just colour
  • The tower builder announces each change to screen readers

How we test

Every page is checked with automated tools (axe and Lighthouse) and by hand with a keyboard, VoiceOver and 200% to 400% zoom, on phones and desktops, before each release.

Known limits

Policy documents, certificates and claim forms from insurance carriers are published by those carriers, and some are PDFs that are not fully accessible. If you need one in another format, ask your broker and we will go through it with you.
