Insurance for teams that ship software.
SaaS companies, platforms and IT services firms handle other people's data and business processes. Customers, investors and regulators want proof of cover, and we build the program that gives it to them.

Exposures
What the program has to answer for.
Five risks we plan around before we approach a single carrier.
- 01
Data breach and ransomware
A breach triggers notification duties, forensic work and often lost revenue. Cyber cover pays for your own response costs and for claims from people whose data was exposed.
- 02
Technology errors and omissions
If your software fails or your service falls short of the contract, customers can claim financial loss. Technology E&O responds to those claims, which general liability does not.
- 03
Customer security questionnaires
Enterprise buyers send security and insurance questionnaires before they sign. Clean answers and a certificate with the right limits shorten the sales cycle.
- 04
Outage and business interruption
When a cloud provider or your own systems go down, income stops. Cyber policies can cover lost profit and extra expense after a covered event, subject to a waiting period.
- 05
Directors and officers liability
Funded companies answer to investors and boards. D&O protects the people running the company against claims about how they ran it, and protects the company in some cases too.

Questions
Straight answers.
Is cyber the same as technology E&O?
They overlap but are not the same. Cyber focuses on data incidents and system failures. Technology E&O focuses on failure of your product or service to perform as promised. Many carriers package them together.
Will underwriters ask about multi-factor authentication?
Yes. Multi-factor authentication, backups that are tested, endpoint protection and incident response plans are now standard underwriting questions. Good answers improve terms and sometimes price.
Do early-stage companies need D&O?
Once you have outside investors, a board or employees, D&O is worth pricing. Investors often ask for it in the term sheet.
What limits should a SaaS company buy?
It depends on how many records you hold, what your contracts require and what an outage would cost you per day. We model those three inputs before recommending a limit.
