Dana founded Corbel Risk in 2011 after eleven years placing construction programs at a regional brokerage. She still leads the firm’s largest contractor and developer accounts and builds the excess towers behind them.
She starts every engagement with the contracts. Indemnity clauses, additional insured requirements and wrap-up terms decide what a policy has to do, so she reads them before she reads a single quote.
Dana chairs the firm’s carrier review each year, where every market we use is scored on claims handling as well as price. Outside work she coaches a youth climbing team in Golden.
