Marcus Oyelaran

Marcus leads Corbel Risk’s transportation practice. He worked in a carrier’s trucking unit and then a freight broker’s risk department before joining the firm as a partner in 2014.

His clients run anywhere from ten trucks to several hundred. He focuses on auto liability structure, cargo and contingent cargo terms, and the endorsements that shippers and freight brokers write into their contracts.

Marcus keeps a short list of underwriters who still price fleets on driver quality, and he helps clients build the safety records that earn those terms. He lives in Aurora and drives a pickup older than the firm.
